Thought you’d like to see this video. We aren’t the hated the country CNN wants you to think we are.

Sorry, but CNN was the first to report this and probably the only one to bring full light to the situation. Mentioning other nation’s involvement doesn’t mean they hate the US, just trying to keep it real. I watched Fox coverage and there was no mention of other nation’s involvement, only the US. I want the facts, not the cheerleading.

Oh don’t worry, there isn’t a lot of “cheerleading”:

Actually, we are the hated country that CNN makes us out to be. Although our perception has gotten better in recent years thanks to our new President Obama, I’ve traveled all over Europe and most of them still hate us. Recently I was in Southeast Asia, and while they don’t seem to hate us that much because they are obsessed with our culture, all of the Europeans and Scandinavians I met there still frown upon Americans.
I realize you are a solider and because of that, have become accustomed to war and fighting, but doesn’t mean the rest of the world doesn’t still hate Americas imperialism.
CJ
Mike, perhaps you can be so kind as to describe what is “imperialistic” about America. Do you even know what imperialism is?
SFC MAC
Pathetic, isn’t it?
I thought Obama’s coronation oops, I mean election, was supposed to bring forth all the love and adoration the world (Eurotrash in particular) had been storing up for just such an occasion.
Not to worry. If Obama kowtows enough, he may go up a couple of percentage points.
Europe can kiss my Red, White, and Blue a**. Note to Europe: Win a war (by yourselves) and maybe we’ll give a crap what you think.
Mike Jones
Actually I do know. In my words, I would describe it as a nations desire and implementation to take over the globe. To force all nations to surrender to its economic, political, and military power. So yea, basically what America does on a daily basis for longer than I’ve been born. I don’t need to look up the definition, but I’m guessing if you do, you’ll find that’s pretty close.
As I said above, I know you are a super right wing military man, so it’s very difficult for you to see beyond your own eyes what is really happening in the world, and Americas role in it, but there is a reason virtually every nation in the world that isn’t on our payroll hates us. Here is a hint… they don’t “hate us for our freedom.”

Although CJ and I are on different sides of the political spectrum, I would suggest that you not make the mistake of thinking that all of the military blinded to see only the efforts of their country.
America espouses an enourmous culteral influence throughout the world, sometimes welcome, sometimes not. Regardless, its something you and I won’t change.
I think its important for the US to be influential throughout the world. If not us, then who? this is the question that makes me think this way.
As for your remarks about CJ you are correct, but the order is slightly wrong.
He is Right Wing
He is in the Military
and he (as many of the troops) Super Man.

Ah…just like the Islamofascists who want to transform the planet into a Caliphate.
