Saw this little gem over at Personal Liberty Digest:
A report spearheaded by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg claims that states that have more lenient gun laws are the largest contributors to illegal firearms throughout the nation.
Bloomberg, in a commentary he wrote for CNN.com, indicated that 10 states with lax gun control laws supplied a high number of weapons that were used in crimes — more than twice the national average. This information was included in Trace the Guns: The Link Between Gun Laws and Interstate Gun Trafficking, a report issued by a coalition of more than 500 mayors in the United States.
“The stakes are high: 12,000 people a year are murdered with guns in the U.S. If one state ignores a gap in its laws, other states have to deal with the deadly consequences,” Bloomberg wrote.
The mayor believes that more work should be done by policymakers to tighten gun control laws, including the gun show loophole that allows individuals with a criminal record to avoid background checks when purchasing firearms from a private seller.
According to PennLive.com, Kim Stolfer, chairman of the gun-rights organization Firearm Owners Against Crime, believes that gun laws do not need to be more strict, but rather enforced and prosecuted better.
“It’s simple: Prosecute the criminals for violating the firearms laws we have now,” Stolfer said, according to the news provider. “If you don’t do it, you’re part of the problem and not the solution.”

Bloomberg and nitwits like him need to think about something.
There are laws against the possession and use of narcotics.
Yet we still have a drug dealer/abuse problem in the U.S.

The point I am trying to make is that these morally bankrupt gun grabbers need to admit that laws do mean anything to people who didn’t plan on obeying them in the first place.

In Singapore if a person spits on the sidewalk they may face a public whipping with a cane for that. The Napoleon wannabe should now that this is not Singapore or has Obama bowed down to them also? Taking away second amendment right as a punishment for littering?
To take away the second amendment right from anyone for any reason other than they have been convicted of a felony, watch out Martha Stewart, is to deny them their U.S. Constitutional rights.
If a person threatens someone with a gun there are already laws out there to protect the citizen and take the gun away from the person that used the gun in such a manner.
Guns and the right to bear arms are a Constitutional right. The politicians that no longer do the will of the people, really they are political outlaws to the people that elected them. If they were to have their way; then this statement would be true, ”When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns.”
Don’t let that political outlaw take your gun and second amendment right away from you. Stand up and let your Congressional representative now you will not stand for the political outlaw taking your rights away from you!
