Hello, I hope this note finds you all well.

My name is Dawn G. I am the founder of the RRU aka ReaganRoundUP military pen pal and support group.

I founded the RRU in Jan. 2006 when the ship my son was on headed for the Iraqi waters. He was on the USS Ronald Reagan.

We closed down the RRU Aug. 1 2010 because of the fact I as the owner operator now have to take care of my Alzhiemers father.

The Reagan Round Up was known all through out America and Canada. It was where individuals could adopt a military man or woman for the duration of their deployment, it was an obligation to write them cards and letters and If you were in a position to send them items that was appreciated.

My point in writing you today is that someone on your end ( could be anyone just that the people are coming from soldiers perspective) is sharing about Reagan Round UP and I am having a lot of people ask for pen pals however we are closed down now.

I would love to open the group again however it wont be for a long while due to my personal issues mentioned earlier.

If you have knowlege of who is sharing about the RRU would you please let them know we no longer exist but I offer the Soldiers Angels site
