I am going to college now and one of my focuses is radio. I am working on the campus radio station, WUSM. I do two shows, but my baby is “Gear Jammin Radio” that airs every Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. central. ( you can listen on-line) The show features trucking music, interviews with artist that do the songs and driver issues. But from time to time, at least once ever couple of months, I do a tribute to the troops. To me, there seems to be lots of veterans that are on the road being truck drivers.

Today I will air an interview with songwriter, David Ayers. He and Barry Allen have put out a CD titled “When the Big Rigs Don’t Roll.” But the CD isn’t all about trucking. There is a song called “All For Liberty.” It is about the troops. I don’t talk about my radio show on this blog because the show is more for truckers, but I just had to share this segment with you. The song is included in the excerpt. I hope you like it because the song and the story behind it really touched my heart.
