During the State of the Union Address last night, President Obama said, “Veterans can now download their electronic medical records with a click of the mouse.”
This is simply not accurate. The VA does NOT allow veterans to access their full electronic medical records online. This is a very easy to prove falsehood that never should have been included in the SOTU speech. Why isn’t the media calling him out on this?

I can click on my medical records from home anytime I want with my healthcare provider and do it weekly as can many of my friends who are with different HMO’s. Perhaps the VA should get with the times and put that system in place so that vets can do like wise.
