Milblogging.com has come out with the finalists for this year’s Milbloggies and A Soldier’s Perspective is again nominated as a finalist for Best Army Blog.

Voting will close on Thursday, April 28, at 7pm EST/4pm PST.

The names of winners will be sealed until Friday, April 29, where they will be revealed at the Sixth Annual Milblog Conference.

After the voting closes, I won’t even know the results up until the winners are announced on Friday, so make sure to keep up with the Twitter hashtag #milblogcon for news being posted by bloggers at the Milblog Conference.

Winners are not required to attend the Milblog conference to receive an award. Each finalist is welcome to send me an e-mail (milblogging@gmail.com) with their contact information or someone that is attending the conference who is entitled to accept a Milbloggies award on their behalf.

The results will be posted online after the Conference.

Due to CJ’s pre-deployment requirements, he is not able to make this year’s Conference, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t win! Please spread the word to all your friends and help CJ achieve a repeat of last year’s victory! He is among great company and says he’s feels honored just to be nominated. Thank you for supporting this site over the years! He’s also glad he doesn’t have to shave his head again!

  2. Well there is two particular gentlemen that i have met from a dating site. Both claim they are in army and deployed in alfaganastan. Sorry my spelling isnt great. One guy was names Sgt. Mark Lingo. He hasn’t asked me about money or anything. Decent to talk to he is suppose to be coming to home in united states in december. Can you tell me if he is real his contact info is sgt_ mark.lingo77@yahoo.com . Another one is Sgt. Brian Johnson, age 45. Now this guy I had my doubts about did ask for 200 dollars so he could come home to marry me, lol. His email address is sgtbrianjohnson1900@yahoo.com. He cussed me out and said you american bastards when i said that didnt make since if he was coming home why should i send money. He promised to double my money. I did delete this jerk. I have pics I can send in an attachement if you send me an email if you like. I just hope and pray mark isnt a fraud but i do know if things are to good to be true it usually sadly is just that. Thanks Beth
