A SOLDIER'S PERSPECTIVE
THE WEB'S LEADING MILITARY BLOG SINCE 2004
Medals of America has offered A Soldier’s Perspective readers an exclusive opportunity to win a $25 gift card to their website.
To enter, simply leave a comment below telling us what you are doing over the Memorial Day weekend or what what Memorial Day means to you. There is no minimum word length. The winner will be chosen at random from the emails that each comment generates. Only one entry per IP address.
Contest timeframe: Now through the end of Memorial Day.
Prizes: Medals of America will provide a $25 gift card for the winner. Obviously, this would most likely be beneficial to someone in the military or wanting to do something for someone who WAS in the military.
Medals of America has a very simple mission – to help every Veteran and Service person to display the Medals our grateful Nation awarded them. Anyone with family members that have been in the military probably remembers being young and seeing your loved one’s medals for the first time. Much of the time, these medals are dispersed all over or just thrown in a drawer. Here’s a great opportunity to show your veteran how much you love them by presenting them with such a beautiful gift that just about every veteran (except John Kerry) would be proud of. Here’s mine:

Medals of America sells everything from medals, to hats, to coins and dog tags. My favorite part of the site is the “build your own” Mil-Thin ™ rack builder.
The contest starts NOW! Good luck. The winner will be announced on Memorial Day.

Going to DC for the first time to visit Arlington National Cemetary and the various memorials. I’m dedicating this Memorial Day solely to remembering the sacrifices of our Service Members and their families.

Far too many younger people do not know the history of this country and the struggle and sacrifices so many men and WOMEN have made over the 200 plus years of this great nation’s existence. Far too many people, take our liberties for granted. I shudder to think what it would be like to live under the domination of a foreign power. God bless the USA!! We will celebrate the day with family and hopefully watch fireworks.
